Televisions have obviously been a big part of our society for the last few decades and over that time the TV and the TV stands available have changed dramatically. TV’s got another popularity boost when the new look of the flat screen came about, then with plasma, LCD, HD, and now 3D, TVs have hit the top of the popularity list again. When you walk into a persons home usually the first thing you notice is the huge flat screen plasma that is mounted on the wall or on a stylish and modern TV stand. TV stands are all about supporting your television not only with somewhere to place it but in its appearance as well.

 

TV stands come in a range of different looks and designs. TV stands are considered more of a piece of furniture than just a place for your TV to go. You can choose your TV stand from the positioning it has, for example you can go for a stationary stand, swivel, or multi position. Stationary TV stands are non-moving and so you need to be sure that the position of your TV is perfect on the stand where it is placed as it cannot be moved. Stationary tv stands are great if you will not be moving your tv or furniture, they are cheaper in cost and so you can save a few quid by going with a stationary option oppose to a multi position stand.
